Community Support Specialist
Department: Residential Group Home
Status: Full Time – Non- Exempt
Hours: First and second shifts available: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm/3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
Provide direct services and teaching skills to persons with severe and persistent mental illness by aiding them in the development of living skills and necessary supports.
Maintain effective professional working relationships with clients' treatment teams, families, and other relevant collateral agencies.
Facilitator for weekly recovery groups in this fee for service environment.
Document in clients' charts according to agency/regulatory standards.
Demonstrate good clinical judgment in times of stress and crisis.
Responsible, in conjunction with Program Manager, for the day-to-day maintenance of the facility including responsibility for ensuring safety, security, cleanliness in compliance with applicable Dept. of Health codes/regulations and Keystone's policies and procedures.
BA/BA preferred; Associate's degree with minimum of one year experience in a related field required. In lieu of a degree, 3-4 years experience in a mental health setting.
Demonstrate ability to clearly communicate verbally and in written form.
Valid driver’s license
Provide transportation in own vehicle, when necessary.
