Program Manager

Department: Community Living Center (CLC)

Status: Full Time – Non- Exempt

Hours:    Primarily Monday – Friday 8:30 – 5:00.  Flexibility required to work evening and weekend hours; On-call hours required.  


Job Summary:

  • Oversee and facilitate clients’ access to social, recreational, vocational and psychoeducational activities by encouraging them to utilize community supports.

  • Responsible for the day to day and overall supervision, operation and maintenance of the Community Living Center program, including client service, physical plant, staff supervision, and program development.

  • Assess and identify level of support and skill training clients will need to become successful in the social and leisure environments of their choice.

  • Assess and support clients’ volunteer and vocational pursuits.

  • Develop and facilitate groups/projects as assigned and needed.

  • Provide direct supervision and leadership to the CLC Psychosocial Rehab Specialists and Recovery Support Specialist in the CLC Program.

  • Assist in ensuring the safety, security and sanitary conditions at the program site.

  • Maintain effective professional relationships with clients’ clinical teams, families, community contacts and other relevant collateral agencies.



  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.  In lieu of education, four years of full time employment in a mental health setting.

  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in a recreational therapy and/or social rehabilitation environment required.

  • Supervisory experience required.

  • Demonstrate the ability to clearly communicate verbally and in written form.

  • Ability to prioritize and organize a variety of tasks to support persons served and program needs.

  • Excellent computer skills.

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Provide transportation in own vehicle when necessary.  

Community Support Specialist

Department: Residential Group Home

Status: Full Time – Non- Exempt

Hours: First and second shifts available: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm/3:00 pm to 11:30 pm


Job Summary:

  • Provide direct services and teaching skills to persons with severe and persistent mental illness by aiding them in the development of living skills and necessary supports.

  • Maintain effective professional working relationships with clients' treatment teams, families, and other relevant collateral agencies.

  • Facilitator for weekly recovery groups in this fee for service environment.

  • Document in clients' charts according to agency/regulatory standards.

  • Demonstrate good clinical judgment in times of stress and crisis.

  • Demonstrate empathy.

  • Responsible, in conjunction with Program Manager,  for the day-to-day maintenance of the facility including responsibility for ensuring safety, security, cleanliness in compliance with applicable Dept. of Health codes/regulations and Keystone's policies and procedures.


  • BA/BA preferred; Associate's degree with minimum of one year experience in a related field required. In lieu of a degree, 3-4 years experience in a mental health setting.

  • Demonstrate ability to clearly communicate verbally and in written form.

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Provide transportation in own vehicle, when necessary.
